Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes Soul gospel Jazz and R&B to create a unique mix. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway, at the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine has been born Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta now, Sunshine is originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician, singing and playing in the local church. She was a student at Spellman College and began to study the R&B styles of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You a House 12, was released only in Japan. It has been remixed several times, and it is a mainstay in her live performance. Her voice also appeared on the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. She took on the role of primary piano player for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to serve as the director of the choir in the production staged by Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine received national attention during her four daily performances in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform during President Obama's 2009 inauguration.
